Siún Kearney M.Soc.Sc., CQSW, LLB
Siún has over 20 years experience in mediation practice, management and training. She is an experienced accredited mediator with broad experience in handling disciplinary, grievance, conflict resolution and dignity at work situations. Siún is a founder member of the Mediator's Institute Of Ireland. She delivers generic mediation training and contributes to the mediation training programmes at UCC, UCD, the Law Society of Ireland and the Garda Juvenile Justice Programme. Siún has presented papers to national and international mediation conferences.
Siún is an MII panel Mediator under the Civil Liabilities and Courts Act 2004, and is a certified investigator in conducting in-depth formal investigation into allegations of harassment, discrimination, and bullying, as part of internal workplace procedures. Siún works as an area coordinator with the Family Mediation Service in Cork. She is a Director and founder of the Cork Community Mediation Service in a voluntary capacity. Siún is a mediation and training consultant within Round Table Mediation and Training and is involved in the preparation and presentation of all our training programmes, including our specialist tailored programmes. Siún also acts as a mediator where situations require an objective third party to facilitate negotiation between parties.
