Independent Investigations
"A full investigation carried out swiftly, constructively and professionally gives everyone the chance to put their view across, give their evidence, feel heard, and not have to endure a protracted conflict."
Why investigate?
In situations relating to allegations of harassment, bullying, misconduct, diversity, discrimination, dignity, or redundancy appeals, a specialist 'fact-find' or a more formal investigation may be required as part of an organisation's internal grievance, appeal, or dignity at work procedures. The process is appropriate when parties are exercising their right to a formal investigation to establish the facts or where the allegations are too serious to merit an informal approach.

The Benefits of Investigation
Conducting an independent investigation has a number of benefits for an organisation:
- It underlines your organisations commitment to fairness to all parties.
- Helps an organisation to manage business risks.
- It provides an immediate intervention to protect the well-being, mental health and dignity of personnel.
- A clear outcome means the investigation can draw the past to a close, enabling people to move on.
- Protects your HR specialists so that they can facilitate the process in a way which respects their previous involvement.
