Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) that is an alternative to the investigative or litigation process. It is an informal process whereby one of our highly experienced Mediators will assist those in conflict in reaching a voluntary, negotiated resolution to the difficulties and challenges they are experiencing.
The decision to mediate is completely voluntary and confidential and gives people the opportunity to discuss the issues raised in the dispute, to clear up misunderstandings, to determine the underlying interests or concerns, and to find areas of agreement. At the end of the mediation process, these areas of agreement will ultimately be incorporated into resolutions to avoid future conflict.
Round Table Mediators have extensive experience, they are certified Mediators with the Mediators Institute Ireland and certified international mediators with the International Mediators Institute. Our mediators use appropriate techniques and skills to open or improve dialogue between disputants to help them to reach an agreement on issues that have been causing conflict.
