About Roundtable Training
All training is delivered by qualified mediators and has the full approval of the Mediators Institute’ of Ireland. The RoundTable Training Team includes only Practitioner Mediators and Certified Mediators. The Training Team has a wide experience of mediating workplace, family, community, academic, healthcare, corporate, and commercial disputes and is qualified and works with children in mediation. Trainers have worked in the private and public sector, providing training in mediation, dignity at work issues, investigation and soft skills.
For those who wish to be assessed for MII certification, this will occur 16th & 17th December 2020.
Those who wish to become certified family mediators with MII are required to undertake additional specialised training.
Half day: Module 1: Couple Dynamics - Engaging in the Process
Half day: Module 2: Family Mediation Process
Full day: Module 5: Family Law Matters
Half day: Module 3: Parenting
Half day: Module 4: Child Protection Issues
Half day: Module 6: Domestic Abuse and Screening
Half day: Module 7: Family Mediation Process
32 hours training is designed for Mediators who have successfully completed a RoundTable recognised 60 hours Certified Mediation Training Programme or similar certified programmes which meet the MII criteria, and are wishing to work in the area of Family (separating couples) mediation

Cork: 23rd & 24th September and 14th & 15th October.
Other dates and locations will be offered if there is sufficient demand.
Available as a full 4-day course or as six individual modules
Course Timings: 9.00 am – 12.45pm and 1.30pm – 5.00 pm
This course is also available as blended learning online.
- €275.00 per full day module. (Module 2 & Module 7 = one full day module)
